Symptom
Light source cannot be connected to the MoVeo
videoscope
The light source cannot be connected to an
endoscope or flexoscope
LED light source becomes very warm after extended
use.
The light intensity of the LED light source is too low or
the LED light source does not emit any light.

Possible causes
An adaptor sleeve is screwed
onto the videoscope light port
pin
An incorrect adaptor sleeve is
screwed onto the light port pin
or there is no adaptor sleeve
The LED light source is operated
for more than 30 minutes at
maximum light intensity
The battery is not charge
enough
Batteries either do not work or
not to a sufficient degree
Battery charge state is low
Remedy
Remove the screw-on adaptor
sleeve or, depending on the version,
use a suitable sleeve.
Reduce the light intensity if light
is still required. Or switch the LED
light source off for a few minutes to
allow the housing to cool down.
Replace the batteries with the
designated fully charged batteries.
Check that the batteries are
inserted correctly.
Check that the specified batteries
are used.
Check the battery charge state and
use fully charged batteries.
Adjust the light intensity to a lower
level.
Replace the batteries with the
designated fully charged batteries. If
necessary, adjust the light intensity
to a lower level in order to continue
using the light source for a few
minutes and replace the batteries
with fully charged ones as soon as
possible.
