Possible cause
One or more couplers are not connected properly. Disconnect and reconnect the coupler(s).
The pressure relief valve on the pump is open
(CORE™ system).

Possible cause
There is not enough hydraulic oil in the tank.

The couplers do not connect or disconnect

Possible cause
The couplers are dirty on the front.
The tool and/or hose are under pressure. This can
happen due to temperature fluctuations during
storage and transport.
The female coupler is faulty.
The couplers are not placed properly in line with
each other for connecting.
The couplers are not properly placed in line with
each other for disconnecting.
The snap ring of the female coupler is blocked by
dirt.

Solution
Slide the battery in the back of the pump until the battery
lock snaps tight.
Let the pump cool down. Check that the deadman's
handle of the tool returns to the neutral position.
Put the battery lock in its upwards position.
Recharge the battery.
Contact your Holmatro dealer.
1. Loosen the drain plug to relieve the pressure from the
oil tank. (Fig. 2, 5)
2. Connect a tool and operate the plunger out.

Close the pressure relief valve by using a
screwdriver to turn it anti-clockwise as far as the
stop.

Connect a tool and operate the plunger in.
•
Do not add hydraulic oil after a tool is
diconnected with the plunger extended.
•
If the problem continues, have the oil levels of
the tools and pump set correctly by a Holmatro
Certified Technician.
Solution
Clean the couplers.
Use the pressure relief tool to release the
pressure.
Have it repaired by a Holmatro Certified
Technician.
Position both couplers properly in line with each
other and press them together in one smooth
action and fasten.
Support and guide the male coupler when
disconnecting.
Check the snap ring of the female coupler and
clean it.
