1.1 Road safety

The product that you have purchased lets you talk on the phone and with your
passenger in complete safety leaving the driver's hands free.
However, for your safety and the safety of other road users, please respect
the following :
• Do not wear the helmet while recharging
• Do not do the pairing procedure whilst driving
• Do not use the device at a very high volume as it may distract you from
driving and prevent you hearing warnings from other vehicles. Adjust the
volume to an appropriate level before moving off
• The SCS kit you have purchased does exempt you from respecting the
Highway Code. For your safety, do not answer the phone whilst driving
and stop before making a call
• Moderate your speed during a conversation (phone or intercom)

1.2 General rules

The use of the SCS kit is subject to the respect of all the restrictions and recom-
mendations relative to the use of mobile phones.
• Do not switch on the mobile phone or the SCS kit when their use is prohi-
bited or when it can cause interference or hazardous situations.
• Switch it off whilst refuelling and do not use the SCS kit in service sta-
tions.
• Do not use near fuels or chemical products.
• Switch it off in the vicinity of explosive materials.

1.3 Appropriate use

Use only as shown in the product information. Do not attempt to take apart,
tamper with or modify any part of the SCS kit. Technical assistance may be
carried only at the authorized service centres.
The helmet is designed for the safety of the person wearing it. Tampering
with it and/or with the SCS kit, as well as invalidating the warranty, can be
dangerous.
