AUTO-SEARCH TUNING continued
After the ATS scan, press PAGE/TIME to enter the memo mode. Se-
lect page 99 or lower with the AUTO
with the numeric keypad #1-7 buttons.
To select an auto-search mode:
1. With the G6 turned off, hold down the numeric keypad #6 but-
ton for about 2 seconds, then release. Note that the last chosen
mode flashes in the screen.
2. While the mode flashes, perform quick, short presses of the #6
button to select alternate modes.
3. Press the PAGE/TIME button when finished.
NOTE: auto tuning cannot be performed in air band.
TUNING KNOB AND JOG BUTTON USE
Turn on the G5. Stations are tuned with the
ing-Knob, Direct Frequency Entry and Auto-Search. Quick, s hort,
sequential presses of the
frequency. Alternately, the TUNING knob can be used. Continuous
tuning in shortwave can only be done with the tuning knob and via
direct frequency entry.

shortwave. Go to your favorite search engine and type in 'shortwave
