The slow blinking green light means that the transmitter is not being
energized during the acquisition (this also happens if the Fusion/
Navigation feature software is not active on the main screen), the solid
green light means that the transmitter is being energized.
Shut down the Aixplorer® and double check all the cable connections.
Make sure all the cables are fully seated in their plugs. Then turn it back
on.
Positioning the Transmitter
Once the patient is ready for the exam, position the transmitter on a stable
non-magnetic support on the side and slightly over the patient so that the
anatomy of interest is within the operational electromagnetic field.
Don't put the transmitter too close to walls containing metallic
components, it could affect the accuracy of the tracking.
Setting Up the Transmitter
on the Cart
This section explains how to set up the transmitter on the carrier of the
cart.
First of all, put the transmitter on the plate as shown below.
