▷ Mount the service unit on the rear side of the
machine using the knurled screws.
▷ Connect the 250 mm compressed-air hose to
the right-hand connection (viewed from the
front) of the service unit and to the com-
pressed-air connection [4] of the milling
machine.
▷ Connect the 2000 mm compressed-air hose to
the compressed-air inlet [1] of the service unit
and the other end to the compressed-air supply
of the laboratory.

I N S T A L L A T I O N
Compressor requirements
The compressor for the Ceramill Motion must
meet the following minimum requirements:
_ Inlet flow rate: 100 l/min (3.54 CFM)
_ Compressed-air reservoir: min. 50 l
(13.2 gallons)
_ Output pressure. 8 bar / 116 psi
_ Sound pressure level: max. 60 dB(A)
A suction capacity of 70 l/min (2.47 CFM) at 5 bar
(72.5 psi) is required during operation.
Requirements on air purity for the Jäger spin-
dle
When another service unit than the one supplied is
to be used, the following connection conditions
according to DIN-ISO 8573-1 must be ensured:
_ Solid contaminants: Class 3
(particle size max. 5 m, particle density max.

Extraction requirements
When another extraction system than the
Ceramill Airstream is to be used, it must meet the
following requirements:
_ Suction capacity: 56.6 l/min
_ Suitability for zirconium-oxide dusts
_ HEPA microfilter (97.97 %), filter class H12,
dust category M
