▷ Clean the inside of the collet with the fine collet
brush [2].

▷ Apply a light coat of the collet grease ([1] in
Fig. 11 on page 18) from the service set to the
outer cone of the collet.
This improves the sliding properties and
increases the clamping force of the collet.
NOTE:
Only use the provided collet grease for lubrica-
tion of the collet cone. Do not use other types of
grease.
▷ Screw the cleaned and lubricated collet in
reverse order to the stop back into the spindle.
▷ Mount the spindle cap again with the screw at
the bottom.
CAUTION:
Danger of tool breakage!
▷ Make sure to remove the milling tool from the
collet chuck!

When the milling tool was from the Ceramill
Motion tool holder:
▷ Place the tool properly positioned back into the
tool holder.
▷ Shut the milling machine door.
▷ Briefly push operation button [A].
The tool is picked up again. The spindle travels
back to the starting position or to the position,
where the program was interrupted.
Service unit
▷ Visually check the service unit for:
▪ Visible particles, debris or particulate matter
within the acrylic glass (signs for contami-
nated compressed air)
▪ Amber discolouration of the filter element
(sign of oil in the compressed air)
▪ Water in the filter (sign of water in the com-
pressed air)
Once any of the listed impairments is given:
▷ Correct the problem with the compressed air.
▷ Replace the complete service unit.
