CLEANING

The materials listed below must be cleaned as follows:

ATTENTION
Do not scrape ice from the walls with pointed tools, the surface could be damaged.
Do not use high pressure appliances (e.g. steam generators).

Only use warm water and non-aggressive detergents and then rinse.
Wash with lukewarm water, using a soft cloth or a chamois cloth.
Only use products specifically designed for cleaning glass.
It is advisable not to use tap water which could leave limescale residues.
Remove the product from the refrigerated compartment and immediately place it in a suitable
refrigerated holding cabinet to ensure proper storage.
Turn off the equipment.
Remove the manually removable accessories (e.g. sliding doors, grills, ice cream containers, etc.).
Wait at least 4 or 6 hours for any ice on the evaporator to melt completely, before proceeding with
cleaning of the appliance. It is advisable, in this regard, to wait until the following day to make sure
that the defrost has been fully performed.
Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the container to drain the water in the dedicated
collection tray located inside the base of the equipment. (See paragraph 11.8).
ATTENTION
Ensure, for operation of the appliance, correct and complete re-insertion of the drain
plug after cleaning.
Clean the side walls and the bottom of the tank using a non-aggressive detergent, lukewarm water
and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Do not use sharp tools. Rinse thoroughly and dry with an
absorbent cloth.

If the equipment has not been earthed, follow the procedure in the previous point. The drain water
will be collected in the dedicated tray locatedinside the base of the equipment. Proceed to clean
and sanitise the collection tray.
Fit the accessories that were removed (step 3-5).
Switch on the appliance and allow the counter to cool down until it reaches the desired temperature
before reintroducing the food.
