OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTION
POWER INSTRUCTIONS
The treadmill should be grounded. If the unit malfunctions or breaks, grounding
provides a path of least resistance to electrical current, which reduces the risk of electric
shock. The unit is equipped with an appropriate power cord with a grounding wire from
the equipment and a plug with a grounding prong.
Only bipolar-type plugs with ground contact (2P + T 20A in accordance with NBR
14136) will be accepted. It is not acceptable to use any type of adapter for outlets
without a ground pin. Outlets must always be installed in appropriate boxes which do
not allow their poles (of the outlet) to be exposed. All outlets must be connected to the
grounding pin. It is totally unacceptable to use the neutral wire (when the installation
has) short-circuited to the ground wire.
ATTENTION!
Improper connection of the equipment ground wire may result in a risk of
electric shock. Consult a qualified professional or maintenance personnel if
you do not know if the unit is properly grounded. Do not change the original
plug of the treadmill.
If it does not fit into the outlet, obtain a suitable outlet installed by a qualified
electrician.
CAUTION!
In accordance with standard NBR 5410, on the specified outlet where the
equipment will be connected, there must be a protective thermomagnetic
breaker with the following characteristics.
•Circuit breaker: 25 Amperes - BATTERY CURVE B - For 220v networks.
•Circuit breaker: 32 Amperes - BATTERY CURVE B - For 110v networks.
The circuit breaker has the function of protecting the equipment in the event
of an electrical breakdown that causes a dangerous increase in the electrical
current.
NOTE: THE CIRUIT BREAKER INSTALLATION MUST BE ACCORDING TO NBR
5410 REGULATION, REQUIRED FOR LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLATIONS, YOUR
INSTALLATION IS LIABLE TO THE INSTALLER AND THE USER.
