The computerized controls will perform a self diag-
notics test the first time the machine is powered
up after being plugged in. This process takes 5
seconds during which all of the lights on the control
panel will flash. This is normal.
The appropriate tank status light will blink when
the Clean Water or Detergent Tank is empty.
In some circumstances, "soft water" or certain

Water Recovery Tank will blink when the tank is
full and needs to be emptied. In this state, the
cleaner will no longer dispense liquid so that the
carpet does not become over-saturated.
