sources are
automatically
played in stereo.
For 2-channel
Dolby Digital sources
decoded
in Dolby
Surround,
identification
signals
are
used
to
automatically
process
the signals in Dolby Pro Logic II
and play them
in the multi-channel
mode.
PLI! (Pro Logic ll) mode
• Even 2-channel
sources
undergo
Dolby Pro Logic II
processing
and are played in the multi-channel
mode.
When
this
mode
is selected
in the
auto
decode
surround
mode,
DVD,
BS digital
and other
multi-
channel
sources
are played
as such
with
multiple
channels,
and CDs and other 2-channel
sources
also
automatically
undergo
Dolby Pro Logic II processing
and are played
in the multi-channel
mode.
In the Dolby Pro Logic i! mode, "CINEMA",
"MUSIC"
or "DOLBY
PL" (Pro Logic) can be selected
and set.

• The 2-channel
decode
mode
cannot
be set when
Dolby
Digital 5.1-channel
signals or DTS signals are being input.
• The 2-channel
decode
mode
is stored
separately
for the
DVD, TV/DBS and V.AUX modes.
