Console shift models
1. Open the center console armrest, unclip the cover above the cup holder, and
then remove (2) Phillips screws toward the outside of the panel. (Figure A)
2. Lift up and remove the shifter trim/ashtray assembly. (Figure B)
3. Unsnap the black cover from under the climate controls, and then remove
(2) 10mm screws exposed. (Figure C)
4. Carefully pull the air vents above the radio towards the rear of car to unclip
and remove them.
Note: There are (3) clips; (2) at the bottom, towards the sides, and (1) at the
top, in the middle. (Figure D)
5. Remove (2) 10mm bolts from the top of the radio/climate control assembly,
and then unplug and remove the entire assembly. (Figure E)
6. Remove the radio from the assembly. (Figure F)
(a) Slightly loosen (2) Phillips screws from each side of the climate controls.
(b) Remove (4) Phillips screws from each side of the radio, and then remove
the radio from the assembly.
Note: The climate controls and brackets will be reused in kit assembly.
