All the indications and recommendations given in this document must be strictly followed to reach the
performance indicated in the manufacturer's datasheets. this will lead to a safe and durable operation.
We reserve the right to modify the content of this manual in case we consider it appropriate, without prejudice
to the customer's experience in the use of the filters, including the exercise of the guarantee if necessary.

2. DESCRIPTION

These filters have been designed to work in the filtration of commercial pools and waterparks. It is the buyer's
responsibility to determine the suitability of the selected filter with respect to the application that will be given. The
processes of filtration and depuration of the water include a wide range of other elements to consider, such as
chemical water treatment, pumping devices, pipe sections and the hydraulic design in general of the installation,
that may affect to the correct operation of the filter. The applicable standards of each country and region, which
the installers must follow, must be considered as well in the Commercial Pools.
The quality of filtration depends on several parameters: the height of the filtration media bed, its characteristics,
quality and granulometry, and the speed of filtration chosen according to the flow rate given by the pump(s).

2.1. General characteristics of the filters

The filter is made from non-corrosive materials such as polyester resin with fiberglass. The inner piping, the laterals
and the diffuser are made from unalterable plastic materials (PVC, ABS and/or PP), resistant to salt water.
Furthermore, they include a control pressure gauge that records the maximum pressure achieved. The wall
thickness varies according to the design pressure of the filter, and it might not be homogeneous.
The manufacturing process is manual and it can lead to different thicknesses, without detriment to the operation
and guarantee of the filter, since all the units produced are individually pressure tested and quality controlled. In
case of exceeding the maximum working pressure stated in the technical datasheet, the filter will be out of
warranty.
The filters are designed to work properly within the range of temperature indicated in the technical datasheet of
each filter. In any case the filters will be exposed to temperatures exceeding to those indicated in the datasheets,
from 40 to 50ºC.
