PLEASE BEWARE THAT...
Your boiler is designed to burn wood pellets, if you want to use other kinds of biomass fuels, check with your
dealer first.
In order to prevent the risk of accident, a correct installation must be done following the instructions of this
manual. Your ECOFOREST distributor will be available to help you and provide you information related to codes,
assembly and installation norms in your area.
It is mandatory to clean the entire heat exchanger and the gas exhaust every season or after an alarm
message. To prevent defects in operation, it is required to install the gas outlet in a vertical position using a "T" a
vertical tube at least two metres in length (2m), never horizontally (see point 5). It is essential to carry out the
installation following the EN-303-5: 2013 standard (or standards that replace them) as well as the standards for
chimneys and gas ducts EN-13384-1: 2003 + A2: 2008 (or standards that replace them ) (See point 5).
The ground plug shall be connected to ~230/240V - 50Hz. Please make sure the power cable does not remain
under the boiler nor close to hot areas of the boilers and it is not in contact with sharp areas that could damage it.
Since this is a high power boiler and taking injto account that we do not know the volume of the circuit and
its dimensions, is NOT sent with a pump or circulating pumps.
AS ECOFOREST DO NOT HAVE DIRECT CONTROL ON THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR BOILER, ECOFOREST DO
NOT GUARANTEE IT AND DO NOT BEAR THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ANY DAMAGE THAT COULD RESULT FROM A BAD
USE OR A BAD INSTALLATION.
SINCE ITS POWER EXCEEDS 70KW, THIS BOILER REQUIRES THE REALIZATION OF A
PROJECT. ETANT UN APPAREIL DE PUISSANCE

ADVICE AND RECOMMENDATIONS.
3.1.
All local regulations, including those referring to national and European standards must be met when installing
the boiler. EN-303-5:2013, EN-13384-1:2003+A2:2008, etc
3.2.
The boiler must be installed on floors of sufficient bearing capacity and, if the existing construction does not
allow this, the floor must be adapted and made suitable, for example by fitting a load distribution plate.
3.3.
The boiler must be installed in a boiler room following local, national and / or European regulations, in Spain
for example the technical building regulations (RITE).
3.4.
Never use petrol, fuel for lanterns, kerosene nor any similar liquid. Keep this kind of fuel away from your
boiler.
3.5.
Do not attempt to light the boiler with the ash compactor drawer doors open.
3.6.
Make sure the door of the fireplace is well closed while the boiler is in operation; also check the cleaning
hatches (if you have touched them).
3.7.
Unauthorized modifications are forbidden. Use only spare parts provided by Ecoforest.
3.8.
Do not overload the boiler; continuous heating efforts might cause premature aging and damage paint (it is
recommended not to exceed 250°C for gas outlet temperature).
3.9.
Do not use the boiler as a burner.
3.10. The boiler and any element that is connected or working in conjunction with the boiler must always be
connected to an earth connection and with a stable 230 / 240V ~ 50Hz alternating current and sine wave
power supply.
3.11. Consider the configuration of the ANTI-ICING and ANTI-LOCK menus (see user manual). If the stove is not
being used over long periods of time and there is a risk of it freezing, empty the device to avoid breakage.
3.12. It is recommended to mount a pressure gauge in the water installation, to compare the pressure of the
circuit with which the boiler indicates. See regulations for installations with powers greater than 70kW.
3.13. To prevent a possible electric shock, only qualified personnel may access or manipulate the side, front and
rear covers of the boiler. See regulations for boiler rooms.
