1 Connect the torch system (4), hose and rubber connector to the fume extraction system.
NOTICE
• When fixing the start-stop pliers (3), make sure that the red point points to the torch system.
2 Connect the start-stop pliers (3) to the fume extraction system (1) and then attach them securely to the extraction
hose (2) (cable assembly) of the torch system (4). (Optional)
3 Connect the dedusting system to the compressed air.
4 Plug in the mains plug.
6.1 Transport and installation
Select a location that allows a short and straight extraction hose feed and prevents it from entering the employee's space of
movement.
6.2 Start-stop pliers
The start-stop pliers allows you to switch on automatically the FES-200 W3 when the welding process starts.

Mounting the start-stop pliers:
1 Connect the connector to the FES-200 W3.
2 Put the start-stop pliers (3) around the cable assembly of the welding fume extraction torch.
3 Set the rocker switch (2) to the Auto position.
The FES-200 W3 starts automatically when the welding process is started.
NOTICE
• Switch on the automatic function to increase the service life of the fume extraction system.
• When an increased smoke concentration is detected in the working area:
• Stop the welding process.
• A function check is required before putting into operation.
4 Switch off the fume extraction system by turning the rocker switch (2).
• Manual = continuous operation
• 0 = off
• Auto = start-stop pliers are active (fume extraction system runs only during the welding process, and keeps running for
the set time of approx. 1 minute).
