10 Troubleshooting
DANGER
Risk of injury and device damage when handled by unauthorized persons
Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious injuries and damage to the device. The
product warranty will be rendered invalid if work is carried out on the product by unauthorized persons.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
CAUTION
• Before performing any maintenance and cleaning work, suitable safety measures must be taken.
• Maintenance and cleaning work on the fume extraction system may only be carried out in areas with locally filtered
forced ventilation.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• The personal protective equipment includes protective clothing, safety goggles, respirator mask Class P3, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
Please observe the attached 'Warranty' document. In the event of any doubts and/or problems, please contact your retailer
or the manufacturer.
NOTICE
• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
Fault
Fume extraction system is not
ready for operation
Suction too weak,
manometer indicator is near the
red point
Despite dedusting of the filter:
manometer indicator remains
near the red mark

Cause
• Control system or component
defective
• Turbine defective
• Carbon brushes defective
• System cannot be switched on
• Suction hose clogged
• Filter cartridge soiled
• Filter pores are clogged

Troubleshooting
• Check and replace if necessary
• Check and replace if necessary

• Switch off the power to the system
Check voltage circuit breaker and replace
if necessary
• Check the straightness of the suction hose
and change it if necessary
• Check suction hose for damage and
clogging
• Hold the hose vertically and use a rubber
hammer to clean it
• Dedust the filter
