General warnings
Before using this stabilizing jacket or any
other underwater diving equipment, you
must follow a course held by a qualified
instructor and obtain the appropriate cer-
tification. The use of diving equipment by
uncertified persons is dangerous and
may cause serious or fatal injuries to the
diver and his companions.
During the assembly and finishing of the
stabilizing jacket, all possible provisions
were made to supply a highly reliable,
long-lasting product.
Such provisions may become ineffective
if the user does not use the stabilizing
jacket correctly and does not maintain it
adequately.
SEAC Diving Pro s.r.l. denies any respon-
sibility for any problem resulting from a
lack of observation of the recommenda-
tions made in this manual.
For any other eventuality, please contact
your authorized SEAC Diving Pro dealer
or SEAC Diving Pro directly. In order to
guarantee maximum safety, every repair
or maintenance intervention must be car-
ried out only by authorized SEAC Diving
Pro workshops.
SEAC Diving Pro stabilizing jackets are a
result of research conducted in close col-
laboration with numerous professional
diving operators. Their innovative charac-
teristics guarantee a reliability that
remains unchanged even after an extensi-
ve series of dives. At the same time, the
mechanical and functional facility allows
an extremely simple maintenance regime.
If you are not expert in the use of this
apparatus, we advise you to study its
functioning during trial dives in shallow
depths and under favourable conditions;
you should then contact a qualified
instructor for a course to update your
skills.
These stabilizing jackets have been certi-
fied according to laws EN 250 and EN
1809, which call for an extensive series of
functional tests up to a maximum depth
of 50 metres and temperatures between
-20°C e +70°C.
Attention!
These stabilizing jackets have been designed to
be used with normal atmospheric air in com-
pliance with the provisions in law EN 12001.
