90° folding of the sternal belt
The illustration on pag 43 illustrates the
various steps necessary to obtain a proper
closure.
Attention!
Always check that all the belts and shoulder
straps are not twisted and positioned correctly
with no curves or strange folds (except for the
two sternum regulation belts that are designed to
make a 90° curve) (see illustration number 12).
Instructions for a correct assembly in the
pre-dive phase
We advise following the instructions below in
order to avoid unpleasant inconveniences
during the various phases of diving.
The first step is that of positioning the stabi-
lizing jacket on the tank.
Position the tank in front of yourself with the
outlet valve facing you.
Position the lightweight alloy backpack on
the tank, keeping the rear of the backpack in
front of the outlet valve.
Tighten the straps on the tank and close the
special buckles; block the straps in excess by
using the special strips of Velcro.
Attention!
By tightening the belt on the tank while dry you
will notice a loosening of the tension when diving
with a consequential slipping of the tank; we the-
refore recommend wetting the straps before car-
rying out this operation!
