4 - MACHINE INSTALLATION
4.1 Warnings
The installation must be carried out by qualified
operators according to manufacturer's instruc-
tions and laws in force.
4.2 Preparation of the plant for in-
stallation
Put the machine on a plane surface with sizes
and solidity suitable to overall dimensions of the
equipment. Do not use water jets or install in
places where water jets are used. To ensure regu-
lar operation, the equipment shall be installed
in places with temperature between +5°C and
+32°C and humidity not exceeding 70%.
The machine is electrically powered and requires
for its operating:
- power supply connection.
4.2.1 Connection to the electrical
network
The system is constructed in accord-
ance with current laws and equipped
with a protection or automatic main
switch with efficient grounding.
The machine is provided with electric cord with
plug.
5 - MACHINE USE
5.1 First switching on the machine
and filling the boiler with water

1) Open the water tank lid (9) extract the tank
(12) (Fig. 05) fill with water (use softened
drinking water if possible).
2) Replace the tank and insert the silicon tubes
making sure that the suction tube touches the
bottom (Fig. 06).
3) Close the lid.
4) Insert the plug in the electrical socket.
To be performed the first time or after
long periods of machine disuse and in
the event the tank is emptied:
1) Release the filter holder (14, 15 or 16), open
the water/steam faucet by rotating the knob (5)
counter-clockwise and simultaneously press
the main switch (1) (yellow switch light on) and
coffee switch (4).
2) When water flows from the steam tube (6)
close the water/steam faucet by rotating the
knob (5) and let water flow from the unit (7).
Afterwards, turn off the coffee switch (4).
3) Insert the filter holder (14, 15 or 16) and wait
until the machine heats to the right tempera-
ture that is indicated by the green light turning
on (3). (it is normal for water to drip from the
unit in this phase)
When the machine is used for the first time, let
about 0.5 litres of water flow from the hot ma-
chine to rinse the unit.
5.2 Switching on during normal op-
eration
1) Insert the plug in the electrical socket.
2) Make sure there is enough water in the tank.
3) Press the main switch (1) (yellow switch light
on).
4) Insert the filter holder (14, 15 or 16) and wait
until the machine heats to the right tempera-
ture that is indicated by the green light turning
on (3). (it is normal for water to drip from the
unit in this phase)
5.3 Coffee preparation
1) Wait until the green light (3) turns on indicat-
ing that the machine has reached ideal coffee
making temperature.

2) Remove the filter holder from the machine
and:
Capsule model: Insert the coffee capsule in the
filter holder with a single nozzle (14).
Pod model: Insert the coffee pod in the filter hold-
er with a single nozzle (15).
Ground coffee model: Insert ground coffee using
the supplied measuring cup (18) in the filter
holder with 1 cup filter (16) to make a sin-
gle cup of coffee or in the 2-cup filter (16/2)
to make two cups of coffee simultaneously. In
the 1-cup filter, pour in one coffee dose, in
the 2-cup filter, pour in two coffee doses; then
pack the ground coffee exerting slight pressure
