5.9 Doses programming

To adjust the doses of DE machine, do the fol-
lowing:
press the continuous output/programming/stop
key
keep it pressed until the relevant light starts flash-
ing, signalling (the machine must not supply water)
the beginning of the programming function which
lasts 4 seconds if a key to program is not pressed.
Activate the output of any key of the keyboard
to start programming which will be memorised
when the key is pressed again to stop output.
Repeat these procedures for all keys to programme
the desired doses.
By programming the first group on the left, the set-
tings will be automatically transmitted to the other
groups. To set different programming between one
group and the other, set them individually (from
LEFT to RIGHT).

5.10 Lights switch-on

The ARCADIA espresso coffee machine has a front
and rear lighting device. To turn the lights on, press
the switch (Fig. 01; pos. 2) located under the base.

5.11 Coffee pot dispensing

(Fig. 09)
Coffee can be dispensed directly into a pot or
tall cup.
To perform this procedure, remove the base grille,
as shown in Fig. 09, then position the cup and
dispense the coffee as previously described.

5.12 Group washing

Press and hold the key
press:
Normal cleaning
the group washing program is activated (5 con-
secutive shots, each one of approx. 10 seconds).
Intense cleaning
the group washing program is activated (10 con-
secutive shots, each one of approx. 10 seconds).
Activate only after fitting the portafilter with the
blind filter provided. To stop the program press
any key.
This program must be used to clean the hydraulic
circuit of the group, as described in chapter 6.3
in daily cleaning.

5.13 Pressure gauge

(Fig. 10)
The machine is equipped with an analogue pres-
sure gauge through which it is possible to control
the pressure exerted by the pump during dispens-
ing. With the pump stopped, the pressure gauge
indicates the mains pressure.
