Symptoms
The monitor will not switch on.
Power indicator not illuminated
(LED on the front).
The hard disk has not been
detected by the system.
The remote control does not
work.
No image on screen (black
screen / red LED).
No video feed on one or more
channels.
The system restarts
automatically after a few
seconds of operation.
RJ45 indicator lights unlit.
Email notifications not being
sent.
System time incorrect.
Possible causes
The adapter is not connected to
the mains / to the monitor (12V
DC, underneath the monitor).
The hard disk has not been
detected / is faulty / is full.
Batteries missing / not working.
The batteries are not inserted
correctly.
The monitor is switched off.
Cable(s) disconnected.
No power to the camera(s).
Faulty camera(s).
System issue or low voltage.
Faulty hard disk.
Faulty motherboard or peripheral
connection error.
The RJ45 cable is unplugged.
Internet access is not available.
Email notification has been
deactivated.
Incorrect time zone setting.
Solutions
• Check that all the power
cables are properly connected.
• Check whether or not your
adapter is delivering a
12V power supply.
• Check that the socket is live.
• Ensure that your hard disk is
not full.
• Contact our after sales service.
Replace the LR03 batteries.
Make sure that the polarity has
not been reversed.
Press the on/off switch.
Check the (video/power)
connections.
Use a different output on the
octopus cable.
Try the camera on another
channel (if there is still no feed,
change the camera).
Check the output voltage
supplied by your adapter.
Contact our after sales service.
Check your cable connections (at
the monitor and the router).
Contact your Internet Service
Provider.
Open the "menu principal" [main
menu] / "avancée" [advanced] /
"alerte" [alert] and select Email
on.
