Microwave Oven Maintenance
CAUTION
oven should be regularly cleaned and any
remaining food should be removed.
WARNING
• Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet
prior to cleaning the appliance. Do not
submerge the appliance in water or in any
othe liquid to clean it.
• Failure to maintain the oven in a clean
condition could lead to deterioration of the
surface, which would irrevocably adversely
the service life of the appliance and
possibly result in a hazardous situation.
• Never use strong detergents, petrol, abrasive
powders or a metallic brush to clean a part of
the appliance.

• Do not remove the wave guide cover.
• After the microwave oven has been in use
for an extended period, there may be strange
odours in the oven. Use one or more of the
following three methods to eliminate them:
a. Put several lemon slices in a cup, and then
heat them in the microwave oven at high
power for 2 to 3 minutes.
b. Put a cup of black tea in the oven, and heat in
the microwave oven at high heat.
c. Put a few orange peels in the oven and heat
them at high power for 1 minute.
