E Reset
To restore your BeoPlay A6 to the factory default settings,
press RESET. You cannot perform a factory reset operation if
the network status indicator is blinking red or white.
> Use a small pin, such as a straightened paper clip, to press
and hold the RESET button for 10 seconds until the indicator
light switches off.
> The product indicator blinks red.
> BeoPlay A6 restarts automatically using factory settings.
F Wireless setup
When an iOS device is connected to your BeoPlay A6 as an
input, a short press on this button prompts BeoPlay A6 to
ask the iOS device to share its wireless network name and
credentials. This feature is only available for iOS devices.
G Standby/off
Press this button to switch BeoPlay A6 between network
standby and off.
H Mains supply
Use the enclosed mains cord only.
I Pairing
Switch on Bluetooth on a device to pair it with BeoPlay A6. Long
press this button to initiate Bluetooth pairing. See page 20.
J Network/Bluetooth indicator
– Off: Product is in network standby mode.
– White (flashing): Product is starting up.
– White (solid): Connected to the network. The wireless signal
strength is strong.
– Orange (solid): Connected to the network. The wireless
signal strength is weak.
– Orange (flashing): In network setup mode, see page 7.
– Red (solid): Connected to the network. The wireless signal
strength is very poor.
– Red (flashing): When this indicator is flashing red and the
product indicator is flashing red at the same time, it indicates
software update is in progress. Do not operate the product or
switch it off.
– Red (flashing): Network error.
– Blue (flashing): Product is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
