3.1.3 Messages
The following two types of messages are shown during operation:
• Notes,
• Error message or warnings.
Notes:
The program control of the HairMaster

treatment programs are in progress:
• As text information shown.
• As a short signal sound at the starting up of the device, the start of the
program and the end of the program.
• As a visual signal shown as color shade on the light ring of the Easy
Control Wheel. The color shades have the following significance:
– Permanent blue light: The device is in standby mode.
– Permanent red light: Program including heat treatment.
– Permanent green light: The program is finished or can be
continued for further treatment.
– Blinking red light: Announces the end of the program.
Error message:
If the heating system fails during operation, an error message is
transmitted as an acoustic or visual signal:
• As text information describing the cause of the problem: e.g.
temperature too high.
• As a continuous sound signal which cannot be switched off.
• As a visual signal, blinking violet light, shown on the light ring of the
Easy Control Wheel.
Continuous sound signal!
If an error message is signaled by a continuous sound signal,
the device must be switched off and put out of operation.
• The device can no longer be used for hair treatment.
• Please contact the OLYMP customer service.
Warnings:
Warnings show an event for which the error which caused it should be

removed immediately or at least as soon as possible. For example, the
customer's seating position must be corrected, because the temperature
sensor is outside the permissible range or because a service is due, e.g.
replacing of the filter.
