We have compiled this manual to provide you
with all the necessary information on the
design, use and care of your HEROS Colour
or HEROS II Colour fire helmet. Please read it
carefully to ensure that your HEROS helmet
gives you complete satisfaction for many
years to come.
The HEROS Colour and HEROS II Colour fire
helmets are available in the following colours:
luminous green and GFK luminous green,
white, blue, red, yellow, orange and black.
HEROS Colour is also available with a
chrome-plated finish.
Although we are committed to the highest
standards of quality during development and
production and all our products undergo
stringent final inspection before shipping,
HEROS Colour and HEROS II Colour fire
helmets subsequently require proper
handling, care and maintenance. You, the
user, are therefore also responsible for the
reliability of your HEROS helmet and
ultimately for product satisfaction.

The HEROS Colour and HEROS II Colour
series fire helmets are simply referred to
as HEROS below.
1.0 Helmet Safety Tips and
Applications
1.1 The HEROS helmet may only be used
for the prescribed purpose after careful
study of the complete manual.
It is designed solely for use in
accordance with standard firefighting
procedures.
The helmet is not suitable, for example,
for use as a cycle or motorcycle helmet
or similar, and has not been approved for
such purposes.
Do not sit or stand on the helmet. Such
uses are inadmissible and forbidden.
1.2 The HEROS helmet must always be
handled, inspected and maintained as
described in this user manual.
