If the time it takes to brew a can of coffee suddenly is increased it is recommended that the coffee maker is
descaled. The hardness of the water can be advised at your local waterworks.
To decalcify the appliance, follow these instructions:

Fill the water tank to MAX mark with a descaling solution.

Press the On/Off switch to start the run.
Switch off the device after half of the descaling solution has passed. Allow the solution to react for

about 10 minutes.
Continue the run by pressing the power button again. Allow the remaining descaler solution to flow

through.

Allow the device to cool down for 5 minutes.

Repeat steps 1-5 with fresh water to free the unit from decalcifier residues.
