for 30 seconds after the last key press. The amount of time for the backlight on the
display is not adjustable.
Press and hold the on/off button for several seconds to stop the device and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
WARNING
If any anomaly is observed in the device (noisy, unexpected display, etc.), do not begin
treatment, but contact the home care provider.

Transporting the device

If the device is equipped with an integrated humidifier, you must detach the water
chamber, empty it completely, and pack the chamber in the carrying case separate from
the device.
CAUTION
If water enters the device it can cause irreversible damage. To eliminate any risk of
introducing water into the device, the water chamber needs to be emptied before
moving or transporting the device. Be careful not to tilt the device when removing filled
water chamber.
To detach the water chamber from the device, follow the instructions provided in Steps
1. to 3., "Disassembling the water chamber" (page 8). Then empty the water chamber
completely.
Next, pack the water chamber and the device in the compartments provided for them in
the carrying case.
If the device is not equipped with an integrated humidifier, detach the device cover and
pack it in the carrying case separate from the device.
To detach the cover from the device, place your fingers on the grip marks on either side
of the cover and press down to separate the cover as shown in Figure 1. Remove the
cover.
Next, pack the cover and the device in the compartments provided for them in the
carrying case.
