and Maintenance", on page 32 of this manual.
1. Carefully pour water into the water chamber up to the maximum fill level.
WARNING
Fill the water chamber away from the device to avoid spilling water on the device.
CAUTION
•
Be careful not to exceed the maximum fill level.
•
Either distilled water or boiled and cooled tap water may be used in the water
chamber.
•
Do not add any other product to the water in the water chamber.

Do not use alkaline solution (physiological saline solution).
•
Use only room temperature water; do not fill the water chamber with hot or chilled

2. If you have removed the silicone gasket, replace it securely on the water chamber
base within the channel provided for this purpose (Figure 11). Otherwise, the device
will not deliver air correctly.

reseat the upper part of the water chamber on the base. Lock the water chamber.
4. Attach the water chamber base to the heating element and tip it forward to lock it in

WARNINGS
•
There is a risk of air leakage if the water chamber or the cover of the Sandman
Duo™ or Sandman DuoST™ is not reassembled correctly, which could cause the
applied pressure to deviate from the prescribed pressure.
•
The humidifier has a plate that, like the base of the water chamber, may become hot
during normal operation and should not be touched.
