2.1 Welding system composition
The CEBORA robot welding system is a equipments
system developed for use in combination with a welding

(supplied with interface).
5 Robot control cabinet.
6 Welding wire spool holder.
7 Torch.
8 Wire feeder unit.

21 Power source.
22 Cooling unit.
24 Power source control panel.
25 Robot interface.
26 Standard cable corresponding to the fieldbus in use (not
supplied with interface).

This manual

This instructions manual refers to the gateway interface
art. 428 and has been prepared in order to instruct the staff
assigned to the installation, the operation and the mainte-
nance of the welding system.

Robot arm on automated welding systems.
It is made up of a power source, eventually equipped with
a cooling unit, a wire feeder, a control panel and a robot
interface (Fig. 2.1).

2.3 Equipment concept

The gateway interface, art. 428, is a connection interface
between Cebora power source and industrial welding ro-
bot equipped with CNC having fieldbus of different types.
gateway interface is designed to be installed in the robot
control cabinet.
