Most floors feel comfortable between 80°F (27°C)
and 86°F (30°C). For a variety of reasons, in certain
installations the comfortable temperature may
be above or below this range; this is normal. The
maximum setting on the thermostat is 104°F (40°C) In
most installations it is unlikely that the floor will ever
reach this temperature.
H. Modifying/Viewing the 5/2 Day Mode
1. To enter the 5/2 Day program, press the Event/
Program button once, the LCD display segments will
be changed as per Figure 15 shown, the Hour digits
and AM digits will flash.
2. Press the Up or Down button to set the Wake Hour.
A single press of the button moves the setting by
every 10 minutes step, changing hour, min and the
AM PM sections. If the Up or Down button is pressed
down, the time will begin to scroll through the time
settings at 10 minute intervals. Once the correct
time is displayed, press the Next/Save button once.
3. The Setpoint temperature digits will start to flash,
see Figure 16. Press the Up or Down button to set
the Setpoint temperature. Press the Back/Cancel
button once to go back to the Wake time setting.
Press the Next/Save button once to accept the
correct Setpoint termperature setting and then it will
continue to the next event setting.
4. The program will then advance to the Leave
settings. The steps for programming the Leave,
Return and Sleep settings are the same as for the
Wake settings. Repeat steps 2-3 for each.
5. The program will then advance to the Wake setting
for the Weekend Days. The "Sa Su" icon will replace
the "Mo Tu We Th Fr" icon. Programming for the
Weekend value of the Wake, Leave, Return and
Sleep, follow the same patterns as described in
steps 2-3 above.
6. At the completion of the "Weekend - Sleep"
settings, the thermostat automatically saves the
entered values, and begins operating to the
programmed time and temperature settings.
During the above steps, the program can be saved
at any time by pressing the Next/Save button for two
seconds. If no key input is received for 90 seconds,

or On/Off button is pressed to other position, the
program will exit the 5/2 Day setting mode saving any
of the changes that have been accepted.
I. Modifying/Viewing the 7 Day Mode
1. To enter the 7 Day program, press the Program
button once, the LCD display segments will be
changed to as per Figure 15 shows. The Hour digits
and AM digits will flash.
2. Press the Up or Down button to set the Wake Hour.
A single press of the button moves the setting by
one 10 minute step, if the Up or Down button is held
down, the time will begin to scroll through the time
settings at 10 minute intervals. Once the correct
time is displayed, press the Next/Save button once.
3. The Setpoint temperature digits continue to
flash, see Figure 16. Press the Up or Down button
to set the Setpoint temperature. Press the Back/
Cancel button once to go back to the Wake time
setting. Press the Next/Save button once, and it will
continue to the next event setting.
4. The program will then advance to the Leave
settings. The steps for programming the Leave,
Return and Sleep settings are the same as for the
Wake settings. Repeat steps 2-3 as above.
5. The program will then advance to 'Tu' and will
copy all the 'Mo' settings to 'Tu' and to all other
days. If these settings are to be used for every day,
you can simply press the Next/Save button for two
seconds at this time and the settings will be saved
and exit the programming mode.
6. Alternatively, you can continue to cycle through
the Wake, Leave, Return and Sleep settings and
simply "edit" as required by using the Up or Down
buttons when the setting is flashing and continue
through the week sequentially until 'Su' settings are
completed.
7. At the completion of the "Su - Sleep" settings, the
thermostat automatically saves the entered values
and begins operating to the programmed time and
temperature settings.
