INSTRUCTIONS
GT4 CHASSIS
1 OPENING: Before opening the frame, remove (without
using blades) any die-cut cardboard.
Release the two tabs on the sides of the frame (fig_a).
Lift and rotate the handle (fig_b) until the frame
opens completely. Press the handle until it clicks
(fig_c) and check that the safety devices are properly
secured by lifting it in the opposite direction.
WARNING: when fastening the seat, press down on
same to secure it to the Ganciomatic base.
2 WHEEL ASSEMBLY: fit the front wheels by inserting
them until they click (fig_a) and then proceed
similarly with the rear wheels until they click (fig_b).
3 FITTING THE BASKET:
Unhook the ties on both sides, at the front of the
frame (fig.a).
Save them for later (point 4c).
4 First fit the front of the basket.
Fasten the front two Velcro straps to the frame, as
shown (fig.b).
Fit the basket to the frame's side buttons (fig.c).
Position a tie (fig_1) between the basket and the
buttons, as shown in the figure (fig_2), and push it
downwards to fasten it securely (fig_3).
Repeat the same procedure on the other side of the
basket.
5 Now fit the rear of the basket:
Fit the basket to the frame's side buttons (fig_d).
Fasten the three buttons at the base of the chassis
(fig.e).
WARNING: If you do not hook the basket on
correctly, as shown, it will be unable to support the
weight of loads placed inside it.
6 The front (fig.a) and the rear (fig.b) of the basket can
be lowered (arrow 1) or raised (arrow 2).
7 FIXED OR SWIVELLING FRONT WHEELS: To lock the
front wheels, press the button as shown (fig.a).
For swivelling wheels, lift the lever upwards (fig.b).
We recommend using fixed wheels on uneven terrain.
8 BRAKE: Press the lever down to apply the brake on the
chassis and lift it to release the brake.
9 Using the rear central pedal makes it easier to climb
onto pavements.
10 ADJUSTABLE HANDLE BAR: to adjust the height of the
handle bar, simultaneous pull up the side buttons
(fig_a), move the handle bar to the required positions
(fig_b) and release the buttons.
11 LOCK: fully lower the handle bar (fig_6).
Press the central safety lever with your thumb (fig_a),
grasp and lift the lock handle (fig-.b) to rotate the
handle bar forward until fully locked (fig_c).
12 To correctly lock, make sure the side hooks are fully
closed (fig_a). The chassis can be taken anywhere
(fig_b).
13 All the wheels can be removed to further reduce
dimensions.
To remove the front wheels: press the button as
illustrated and remove the wheel (fig_a).
To remove the back wheels: pull the tabs out and
remove the wheels as illustrated (fig_b).
14 WARNING: Do not touch the fastening knob on
the Ganciomatic base unless required by specific
instructions.
Check that the base is correctly secured to the
frame by making sure the arrows are positioned
as illustrated and that the indicator is green.
WARNING: Lift the base up to ensure it is correctly
fastened.
Otherwise, secure the Ganciomatic base as
indicated in points 15 and 16.
15 REMOVING THE GANCIOMATIC BASE: Simultaneously
press the safety button and turn the knob in the
direction of the arrow (fig_a). The safety button
indicator will be red (fig_b). Remove the base from
the frame (fig_c).
16 SECURING THE GANCIOMATIC BASE: To secure
the base, make sure the indicator is red (fig_14b).
Correctly place the base on the frame (fig_a) with
the hooks under the lock pins (fig_b). Turn the knob
in the direction of the arrow until it clicks, the safety
indicator turns green (fig_C).
