These cautions discuss misoperations that may result in injury or physical
damage.
„ Do not remove the protective sheet covering the bowl until the installa-
tion is complete.
„ Check the lavatory thoroughly for leaks once installation is complete. Shut
the water supply immediately if you discover any leaks.
„ Do not use the following cleaning products on the lavatory, because they
may cause damage:
ƒ Acid or alkaline cleaning materials
ƒ Abrasive cleansers
ƒ Scrubbing brushes
ƒ Sponges with net
„ If you must dispose of the lavatory, sort the individual parts, then dispose
of the sorted parts in an environmentally acceptable way (according to the
laws of the country you are in).
„ Keep sources of heat away from the bowl (ex. cigarettes). Keep the lava-
tory out of direct sunlight to reduce the chance of discoloration.
„ Keep strong solutions such as hair dye, baldness remedies, permanent
wave solution and iodine substances away from the bowl. Rinse away all
such solutions immediately if they do get on the bowl, because they may
cause discoloration.
