Installation
Please note: The installation must carried out only by highly skilled personnel , thus strictly observing the current regulations.
Fastening the base
The chronothermostat is supplied with a base suitable for being installed both on walls and on rectangular or round flush mounting boxes
with 3 modules.
Divide the base and the chronothermostat by forcing the slot located at the bottom of the base with an appropriate tool.
Make sure that the base is well fastened, with no deformations, and that the chronothermostat multipole connector is in the bottom left corner.

Fastening cross-slotted screw
Before connecting anything, it is necessary to remove the protective carter of the terminals, thus keeping it with the fastening cross-slotted
screw.

Connecting the separate temperature probe
Connect the two wires of the separate temperature probe to screw
terminals A and B, as shown in the picture.
Separate temperature probe NTC (item 3457), R 25°C=10kΩ,
BETA 3435 Max. length of connection: 10 metres.
Putting in the batteries
Put in two long-lasting alkaline AA 1.5 V pen batteries at the back of the chronothermostat, thus observing the polarity shown. The
chronothermostat will switch on automatically after putting in the batteries.
Fixing the chronothermostat on the base
Press the chronothermostat onto the base manually; make sure that the multipole connector is properly inserted. The chronothermostat
fastening device can be click-locked.
If you want to control both the heating and cooling system, set up a two-way switch for
selecting Summer/Winter, as shown in the picture:

When the season changes, set the two-way switch to the required position and switch
over to the Summer/Winter by pressing the proper key on the chronothermostat.
