Spray pressure setting tips
The spray pressure setting method can be done in two ways.
1. Pressure setting via the pressure regulation dial.
- Turn in clockwise direction to increase the pressure, or;
- Turn in anticlockwise direction to decrease the pressure.
2. Pressure setting via the throttle control lever adjustment .
This will maximise the performance and fuel efficiency:
- Lower engine speed for lower spray pressure, or;
- Maximum engine speed for maximum spray pressure.
NOTE: Limiting the pressure using the pressure regulator
dial will provide better protection of inadvertent error when
the operator increases the pressure via the throttle control
lever. Setting a lower pressure for longer periods of time,
using both the pressure regulator and a lower RPM together is
recommended to reduce wear on components.
WARNING
DO NOT make any other adjustments or modifications on the
sprayer to avoid contaimination of the environment, operator
or bystanders.
Spray flow rate for each nozzle
A single nozzle spray wand and a 3 nozzle wand are supplied
as standard equipment with the unit.
The following table is a general output data for each nozzle at
max. speed and pressure setting:
Wand Type
Single nozzle wand
3 Nozzles wand
Wand Operation
The spray wands are designed and intended to dispense liquids
from the tank onto vegitation as required. The wands must not
be used for any other purpose other than intended.
• DO NOT used the wands to lever or lift objects (including
vegitation) as this may bend or damage the wand.
• DO NOT strike any object with the wand as this may result in
serious injury or damage.
• DO NOT use the wand to support balance (eg. DO NOT use
as a walking stick) as this will damage the wand.
