4. Setting mode

At the power-up, when the display is showing the software version, turn the heating control knob from the minimum
to the maximum twice to access the setting mode
•
Rotate the heating control knob to browse through the available menus, listed below
•
For AREC.X and AREC
➢ Rotate the speed control knob from the minimum to the maximum and then to the minimum again to access the
selected menu
➢ The display shows the saved value for 3 seconds; then it shows the new value according to the position of the
speed control knob
➢ The new value is saved if the speed control knob is not touched for 4 seconds
The display will show "End"; then it shows the setting mode menus
•
For REC
➢ Do not touch the knob for 2 seconds to access the selected menu
➢ The display shows the saved value for 3 seconds; then it shows the new value according to the position of the
heating control knob
➢ The new value is saved if the knob is not touched for 4 seconds;
The display will show "End"; then it shows the setting mode menus
•
To exit the setting mode, restart the instrument

5. Error and warning messages
When the display shows an error message, the instrument's functions are stopped automatically.

Heating plate overtemperature

The stirring system doesn't run correctly

To remove the error message, restart the instrument.
