Operating the light switch
On the carrying handle there is a light switch for the integrated LED lights.
•
Press the light switch to turn the LED lights on and off.
•
The battery for LED lights should be replaced when the LED lights no longer turn on when the light
switch is pressed.

Operating the laser pointer
5.8.1
Push the light switch
On the grip head is a switch for the laser pointer. Refer to Fig. 2, 10.
•
Push the light switch to start the laser pointer.
•
Push the light switch again to stop the laser pointer.
5.8.2
Replace the battery for the laser pointer
When the laser pointer does not operate when the switch is pushed, replace the battery for the laser
pointer. Refer to Fig. 8.
•
Remove the screw (B).
•
Remove the grip head.
•
Replace the battery in the battery holder (A)

Cam and steel ball connection system
Refer to Fig. 7.
The steel ball (C) in the groove (E) and the cam (A) serve to hold the accessory in place.
5.9.1
To attach
•
Position the cam (A) of the accessory (F) in front of the recess (D).
•
Push the accessory firmly on to the ram jack (B) until the steel ball (C) clicks in the groove (E).
•
Turn the accessory 180° with respect to the ram jack so that the recess provides extra locking.
5.9.2
To remove
•
Remove the accessory (F) from the ram jack (B) by turning it around while pulling it at the same
time. When the cam comes to the recess (D) the accessory is released.

Use
6.1
General
The equipment of a rescue system must always be ready for use. That means the equipment must be
checked and inspected directly after use, before it is put away.
WARNING
Make sure you are up to date on all safety regulations and that you have mastered the use of
all equipment of the system you are going to work with.
