Special Instructions and Applications
The LED Mechanism is secured with a cable-tie for
N otee:
shipping (Figure 12.). Cut and remove the cable-tie
prior to adjusting the mechanism.
LED Reflector Installation
To prevent damage to the LED Module, the LED Reflector
should not come in contact with the dome of the LED
Module. Do not touch the inside reflective surface of the
LED Reflector. Grasp the reflector via the outside surfaces.
1. If installed, remove the LED Protective Cover from the
Reflector Retention Ring by turning counterclockwise
and then lifting off.
Cut and remove cable-tie
before attempting to adjust
mechanism.

2. Position LED Reflector so that the larger attachment
wing aligns with the larger opening in the Reflector
Retention Ring. The larger opening is marked with a
solid rectangular block (Figure 13. and Figure 16.).
3. Turn clockwise (Figure 14.) to engage and lock
(Figure 15.).
The LED Reflector is removed by turning counterclockwise
until the stop is reached, then pulling the LED Reflector off
of the Reflector Retention Ring (DO NOT FORCE).
Light Source Rotation
1. Loosen the rotation lock down screw using a Phillips
No. 2 screwdriver (Figure 17 .).
2. Turn the mechanism to the desired position using the
positioning tab and a screwdriver (Figure 18.).
3. Tighten the rotation lock-down screw to secure the
desired position. (Do not over-torque). (Figure 17 .).
Light Source Tilting
The mechanism is set at 45 degrees tilt. If necessary,
tilt the mechanism by turning the tilting screw in the
clockwise direction (Figure 19.). Reference the angle dial
on the mechanism assembly for determining tilt angle. No
additional steps are required for locking the tilt
position – the mechanism automatically locks into the
desired position.
N otee: Cut and remove the cable-tie prior to adjusting the
mechanism (Figure 12.).
Optical Element Installation
Installation of the optical element trim onto the housing
platform is performed after the housing platform is installed
in the ceiling, the aperture opening has been cut into the
ceiling, and the desired LED reflector has been installed. For
proper installation, please refer to the Installation Instruction
sheet provided for the optical element.
