the safety belt lock (P).
Pull out the vehicle's safety belt from the child
seat and allow it to retract.
Using the child seat with the child
How to position the child
Press the red button on the buckle (J) to open
it (fig. 21).
Separate the buckles and rest them on the sides
of the child seat (fig. 22).
Position the child in the child seat.
Bring the buckle clips together.
Insert the united clips into the buckle (J). A click
will indicate that the buckle is fastened correctly
(fig. 23).
Pull the front adjustment strap (G) to snugly fit the
child seat harness straps on the child (fig. 24).
Position the padding (K) on the shoulders and
chest of the child (fig. 25).
Warning: when travelling, regularly check that
the child is still correctly strapped into the seat.
How to unfasten the child
Press the adjustment
simultaneously pull both of the child seat's
safety harness straps (L) to slacken them.
Press the red button on the buckle (J) to open it.
Separate the safety harness straps and move
them away from the child.
Maintenance
Remove the cover (H) completely to wash it.
To remove the cover:
Release the elastic straps holding the cover in
place.
Press the red button on the buckle (J) to open it.
Remove the buckle padding (K).
Release both safety harness straps from the
T-shaped metal clip (T) positioned behind the
back rest of the child seat.
Pull out the straps from the backrest and
padding.
Pull out both metal clips (U) from the backrest.
Remove the cover from the plastic housing of
the adjustment button (H).
Pass the strap (L) through the slit in the cover.
Repeat the procedure above in reverse order
to refit the cover.

Warning: after refitting the cover, carefully
check that the safety harness and padding are
correctly fitted.
Follow the washing instructions on the label
attached to the cover.
Wash the plastic parts with warm water and
soap. Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Warning: the cover is an integral part of the child
seat. The child seat cannot be used without it.
Covers may only be replaced with original spare
parts.
