Burner assembly removal and cleaning
To remove the burner assembly:
• Disconnect the power and turn off the gas ahead
of the boiler.
• Undo the two screws (A) securing the electronic
flame controller to the gas valve (fig. 9 and 10) and
remove the valve. Remove the connector (D - fig. 9
and 10) by undoing the screw securing kit.
• For GASTER N 97 and 107 AW models which have
2 gas valves, also undo the 2 screws securing 2
electrical connectors (F) that feed the second valve
and remove them from the valve.
• Disconnect the ignition and ionisation wires from the
electrode assembly;
• Undo the nut securing the gas supply pipe ahead of
the gas valve (fig. 9). For models 97 and 107, undo
the 2 nuts (fig. 10)
• Undo the two nuts securing the combustion chamber
door to the cast iron elements of the boiler (fig. 9
and 10)
• Remove the burner assembly and combustion
chamber door.
Then check and clean the burners. Only use a non-
metallic brush or compressed air to clean the burners;
never use chemical products.
Afterwards, refit everything in reverse order.
