SYSTEM (FIG.F)
1. Remove the plastic cap from the
compressed air inlet (7) of the tool;
2. Screw and tighten the accessory (9)
in the air inlet;

compressed air hose;
4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
When using the tool, you must take
into account some precautions and
procedures to avoid loss control,
damage to the work area and injury to
the user.
 The accessories and rotating parts
must be able to work at least at the
speed of rotation of the tool. Failure
to do so may damage the accessories
and parts;
 Ensure that the thread of the rotating
accessory (type and dimensions)
is compatible with the thread of the
accessory;
 Always hold the tool with both hands
and with the auxiliary handle placed;
 Never leave the tool unattended
before it has completely stopped.
The rotating accessory can come into
contact with the surface, causing it to
lose control over the tool;
Do not apply too much pressure
on the tool against the work piece.
The weight of the tool is sufficient to
apply the proper pressure. If the speed
decreases abruptly, the pressure must
be reduced immediately;
 Never turn the tool on when the
rotating tool is in contact with the
work piece. Only touch the rotating
accessory on the work piece after the
maximum rotation speed is reached;
When using the sharpening or
sanding tool or any other type of
grinding accessory, always keep a 15 °
angle between the disc and the surface
of the work piece. This increases the
capacity and removal of the disk and
will avoid unnecessary overloads;
 Do not use water or lubricant during
the sharpening process;
 Take special care when using the tool
in sharp corners or sharp edges. Avoid
the accessory to be projected or get
caught in the work piece;
 Operate the tool with the compressed
air hose always behind it and away from
the feet to avoid stumbling and falling;
 Use original VITO accessories. Other
manufacturers' accessories may cause
imbalances, excessive vibration and
may cause loss of control;
4.1 - START AND STOP (FIG.G)
Before starting the tool check
the working pressure and adjust
according to the technical specifications
of the tool. (Pmax < 6.2 bar);
1. To turn the tool on, push the safety
lever (5) forward and press the "ON/
OFF" switch (6);
2. To turn off, release the "ON/OFF"
switch;
3. Set the safety lever to lock the
"ON/OFF" switch. This prevents an
unintentional start;
5. MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
Before any maintenance or
cleaning work, disconnect the
tool from the compressed air supply.
5.1 - LUBRICATION (FIG.H)
The tool must be constantly lubricated
in order to ensure the best performance
and ensure an expected life.
Lubrication should be frequent, but not
excessive. Only a few drops of oil for
pneumatic tools, in each use, guarantee
the performance of the tool. The added
oil will lubricate the inner parts.

Lubrication

can
be
automatically by means of a line
lubricator placed in the compressed
air system which feeds the tool or
manually if there is no such equipment
in the installation.
If the compressed air system where the
tool is connected does not have a line
lubricator, perform manual lubrication
using the following procedure:
1. Disconnect the tool from the
compressed air hose;
2. Apply a few drops of oil to the air
inlet (7) before each use or every hour
if the tool is being used continuously;
3. Remove the lubrication screw (1)
and apply a few drops of oil to the
spindle of the tool;
Use only pneumatic tools oil.
Other
types
of
damage the tool seals.
