Used batteries

• If a fully recharged battery lasts for
considerably shorter operating times,
the battery is used up and needs to be
replaced. Only use an OEM battery
pack replacement available from our
Customer Service.
• Always take heed of the applicable
safety instructions as well as the envi-
ronmental protection regulations and
information (see "Cleaning and Mainte-
nance").

Storage

• Only store the batteries in the partially-
charged state. During prolonged stor-
age, 2 to 3 LEDs should be illuminated.
• Remove the battery before storing the
unit for longer periods of time.
• During a longer storage period, check
the state of charge of the battery and
recharge if necessary roughly every
3 months.
• The ideal storage temperature for the
battery is between 0 °C and 45 °C.
Avoid extreme cold or heat during stor-
30
age to ensure the battery output is not
adversely affected.

Wall mounted charger

(optional)
You can also mount the charger (3) on the
wall.
• Using dowels, place two screws 54 mm
apart at the desired position of a wall.
• The screw head can have a diameter of
7 - 9 mm
• Leave the screw heads protruding at
a distance of approx. 10 mm from the
wall.
• With the openings of the wall bracket,
you can attach the charger (3) to the
two screws and pull the charger down
until it stops.
When drilling, be careful not
to damage any supply lines.
Use suitable search devices
to find these or consult an in-
stallation plan for guidance.
Contact with electrical cables
can lead to electric shock and
fire. Contact with a gas pipe
can result in an explosion.
Damage to a water pipe can
lead to property damage and
electric shock.

Cleaning

Clean the charger and the battery with a
dry cloth or with a paint brush. Do not use
water or metal objects.
