SAFETY
Read and understand this owner's manual and be familiar with controls and safe operating
procedures before operating your generator.
Do always the pre-operation check before starting the generator to avoid eventual
accidents or damages in the equipment.
Keep the generator at least 1 meter away from buildings and other equipment and in a
well-ventilated area during the operation to avoid fire. Keep flammable materials away
from the engine or the generator.
Keep children and pets away from the area of operation since they might be hurt or burnt if
they touched hot /working parts of the equipment.
Know how to stop the generator quickly in case of emergency and understand the use of
all generator controls, output receptacles and connections before starting the generator.
Be sure that anyone who operates the generator receives proper instructions.
Do not place flammable materials such as gasoline, matches, etc near the generator while
operating.
Do not check gasoline level by lighting up with the flame of matches or any incandescent
system.
Check that gasoline used is appropriate.
Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. Gasoline is extremely flammable
and explosive under certain conditions.
Do not fill the gasoline tank in excess. Keep a lower level to the one of the filling cup
protector. Make sure that the tank cup will be perfectly closed.
Be careful not to spill fuel during the filling. Fuel vapors are extremely flammable and may
ignite after the engine has started .Make sure that any spilled fuel has been wiped up and
area has been well-ventilated before starting the engine.
Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks where the generator is refueled or where gasoline
is stored.
Do not run the generator in an area that is confined or even partially enclosed. Exhaust
contains poisonous carbon monoxide. Do not breathe the air as it could contain a
dangerous amount of exhaust gas.
Operate the generator in such a way that the fuel tank cup will be kept in horizontal
position to avoid any eventual fuel spillage.
Be careful not to touch the muffler. The muffler becomes very hot during operation and
remains hot for a while after stopping the engine. Let the engine cool before storing the
generator indoors.
Do not connect to a building's electrical system unless an isolation switch has been
installed by a qualified electrician.
Do not operate the generator for other uses which are not appropriate. A bad use can
damage operator or materials .
Turn off the generator and unplug electricity outlets before starting any maintenance
procedure with the equipment.
