o) Reinstall the spark plug until resistance is felt. At this point, the piston is coming up on its
compression stroke and both the intake and exhaust valves are closed. Storing the
engine in this position will help to protect it from internal corrosion.


USE

Your generator RATIO has been designed to guarantee your safety. This equipment will help
you in your work but can be a danger and may electrocute you if you do not closely follow the
instructions.
WARNING:

Do not connect the generator to a general electrical system socket.

Do not connect any appliance or power cord to the generator before having
started it.

Do not modify internal wiring of the generator.

Do not modify the rpm of the engine: frequence and voltage supplied by the
generator are directly connected to the engine rotation speed. Such a regulation is
made at the factory.

Only connect appliances in good conditions. Most of portable electrical appliances
are of type II (double insulation). In case of use of other appliances out of this
category make sure that ground connection wire is provided to assure the ground
power equipment in case of electrical failure.

Make sure that the electrical rating of the tool of appliance does not exceed that of
the generator.

Check usually connectors and electrical wires. Any faulty elements will have to be
replaced immediately. Use sections and lenght of wire according to the power to
be transmitted.

Any overloading must be avoid:
o Total power of all connected appliances at the same time to the generator
must be suitable with the features supplied in the related section of this
manual.
o Some appliances need a higher starting power than their nominal one
(engines, compressors, etc) . In case of any queries, please contact AN
OFFICIAL TECHNICAL SERVICE to receive proper advice.
o Never exceed the specified maximum intensity for every outlet .

It is advisable to decrease the power which is connected to the generator when it
is operating in unfavourable conditions.Such conditions normally decrease the
cooling of the generator. The most favourable conditions of use are:
o Atmospherics pressure 1 atm
o Room temperature: 25ºC
o Humidity: 30%
This generator is equipped with two thermic protectors which work in case of overloading.
One for Alternating Current (AC) outlet and another for the Deferred Current (DC) one if
electrical current distribution get interrupted during the operation. In this case it is advisable to
wait for a while and eliminate the cause of overloading and perform on the corresponding
thermic protector. In case a fuse had to be changed, replace it by another one of the same
amperage. (See electrical scheme 10).
