Cable Reference Guide
Use this reference guide when establishing your
machine's various settings. Note that your final settings
may vary considerably from the values listed. These
values are meant to be a starting point.
When trying to find the Notch Depth for a cable size,
use the Notch Depth parameter in the Reference Guide
as a starting point. Cut a whip at the value suggested
below and inspect the resulting notch. If the Notch
Blade made contact with the cable, but didn't cut deep
enough to break away, increase the Notch Depth. It
is recommended to increase the Notch Depth by .03.
Increasing the Notch Depth setting significantly more
than .03 between successive cuts runs the risk of
crashing the Notching Blade into the cable, which could
break the Notching Blade.
