1. To begin, press the SET BUTTON (Figure 1). Press either the < or > BUTTON to select
your MEMORY Location. Press the SET BUTTON to confirm.
2. Set HEIGHT. Press the < or > BUTTON to find your HEIGHT. When your HEIGHT is
correct, press the SET BUTTON.
3. Set AGE. Press the < or > BUTTON to find your AGE. When your AGE is correct, press

the SET BUTTON.

4. Set Gender. Press the < or > BUTTON to select MALE or FEMALE. When GENDER is
correct, press the SET BUTTON.

5. Set NORMAL or ATHLETE Mode. Press the < or > BUTTON to select ATHLETE (A) or
NORMAL (N). Once the Mode is correct, press the SET BUTTON.
**An ATHLETE is anyone who works out 12 hours per week and has a
resting heart rate of approximately 60 beats per minute or less.
NOTE: ATHLETE Mode is only available for individuals between 15 and 50 years of age.
If your AGE is outside this range, the scale will proceed to the next step.
6. Confirm your data. The screen will display your MEMORY Location, AGE and GENDER,
and then your HEIGHT (Figure 2). The screen will switch off.

Using Your Scale – BMI/Calorie Mode
1. Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors may affect accuracy.
2. With scale off, press the SET BUTTON. Press the < or > BUTTON to select your
MEMORY Location. Wait for the scale to cycle through your information. When '0.o' is
shown on the screen, step on the scale. Use caution so as not to tip the scale. Be sure
the floor is not wet, or the scale may move.
Position feet evenly (Figure 3).
3. Stand still while the scale calculates your weight. Weight will be shown on the screen.
4. Continue standing on the scale. BMI and Calorie calculation will begin.
5. BMI will be displayed first. Health Status will also be displayed. BMI indicates whether
you are UNDER WT, NORMAL, or OVER WT (Figure 4).
6. Calories are displayed next (Figure 5).
7. Scale will cycle through your results again, and then turn off to conserve battery.
