Centrifuge Rotor Balancing

Warning!
Spin balanced loads only!
Do not place the tubes asymmetrically nor load unequal volume tubes.
Improper placement of tubes will lead to insufficient centrifugation and
may cause serious injury or an accident.
Tubes of equal weight and size should be placed opposite each other.
Use additional sample or water in other tubes to provide a balanced rotor.
Examples of proper sample balancing are illustrated next.

Warning!
Do not attempt to open lid until rotor has completely stopped! Avoid
severe personal injury or property damage from moving parts. Only use
rotor compatible with the centrifuge.
