2. SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual
for future reference or new users.
• Do not leave the vacuum cleaner unattended when connected to the mains supply.
Unplug when not in use.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces.
• This appliance is not a toy. Special care must be taken when using the appliance near
children.
• Use only as specified in this manual. Use only accessories recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Do not use if damage is observed in the cord or plug. If the vacuum cleaner is not working
as it should, has suffered a blow, is wet, or is damaged, it must be repaired by Cecotec's
Technical.
• Do not pull from the power cord, nor use it to pull the appliance. Do not crush the cord
with doors and prevent friction with sharp edges or corners.
• Do not unplug by pulling from the cable. To unplug it from the wall outlet, pull from the
plug, not the cord.
• Do not handle the plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not place any objects in its openings and holes. Do not use if there is any blocked ventilation
opening; keep it clean of dust, hair, or anything that can reduce or block the airflow.
• Keep hair, clothing, fingers, or other body parts away from the ventilation openings and
moving parts of the vacuum cleaner.
• Turn off the switch before unplugging the vacuum cleaner.
• Take special care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner to suck up flammable liquids, such as gasoline, or in areas
where these liquids may be present.
• Do not suck up any burning or smoking object, such as cigarettes, matches or ashes.
• Do not use the cleaner without the dirt container and/or the filter in place.
• Read carefully the rating label and marks on your vacuum cleaner and follow their
instructions.
• Keep the end of the cleaner, the suction nozzle, and any ventilation opening away from
the face and body.
• This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8. This product can be used
by children aged 8 or over, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensitive, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, as long as they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
