IMPORTANT REMARKS
The operational range of the remote control is about 5 meters.
1. Point the remote to the receiver on the front panel of the device.
The receiving angle is about ±30 degrees in the range of 5 meters.
2. Keep the remote away from excessive moisture; do not drop it.
2. Do not operate the remote under intense sunlight.
3. Change the batteries when they are weak or dead.
8.1
Basic Operation
1. Plug the power adapter into a working electrical outlet and connect the other end of the
adapter to the device, switch the device on. The Power LED will blink once and turn into
standby mode; it will become solid red (no blinking) afterwards.
2. Press the POWER button and the POWER LED will turn blinking green. After a while, the
power LED will stop blinking, and PARTITION LIST/FILE LIBRARY will appear on the TV
screen.
Notices
• Usually, it is not necessary to change your video system (PAL/NTSC). But if the TV only
supports NTSC or PAL, you should use the P/N button to select a colour system to match
your TV system.
• If there is no signal on the TV screen available make sure that you do not have a USB cable
inserted into the USB Jack (8), When using USB the device will automatically switch itself to
PC/Computer mode.
• If "AUTO START" is ON (press the SETUP button->SETUP MENU->PREFERENCES-
>AUTO START->ON), all files on the HDD will be played automatically; Pressing the STOP
button can stop auto-playing and display a full file list of the selected partition.
• Press one of the / / / buttons to move the cursor, and use the
confirm selection (enters media library, enters file folder, or starts playing files).
• Press the STOP button to stop playing and go back to FILE LIBRARY.
• Press the MENU button to show the PARTITION LIST or FILE LIBRARY (if there is only one
partition on the HDD).
• Press the POWER button to enter/exit standby mode.
• Disconnect the device from power or batteries if the device will not to be used for a long
time.
