Before You Begin

CAUTION: Risk of personal injury. Do not select a rim-mount faucet or large
deck-mount faucet for this product. These faucets may be inadvertently used as a
means of support and are not appropriate or safe for this installation. Select a
wall-mount faucet or alternative deck-mount faucet.
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Use color-matched 100% silicone sealant to
the required areas when instructed. Do not use latex-based sealant or other caulks.
Do not add silicone sealant to any other areas. The inappropriate type and
application of sealant may trap moisture and could result in mold, leakage, or
mildew over the life of the product.
NOTICE: Risk of product damage. Do not install the bath over open floor joists. The
basin area requires no additional support when the subfloor is level and square with
the stud framing. Install the bath on an adequately supported, level subfloor.
Shimming is required if the subfloor is not level.
NOTICE: Risk of product damage. If your bath is shipped with a liner, keep the
liner in place until construction is complete to prevent surface damage to the unit. If
a liner is not available, place a clean drop cloth or similar material in the bottom of
the bath.
Read all instructions before you begin.
Observe all applicable plumbing and building codes.
Upon receipt, check for missing parts or damage to the bath. Report any missing
parts or damage immediately.
Store the product in a safe place until you begin installation to avoid damage.
For remodeling installations: (1) Measure the existing framework before removing
the existing bath to make sure that the new bath will fit in the existing framework.
(2) Make sure that the drain outlet and drain line are in the correct location.
Confirm adequate mounting and connection space for the water supply and drain
installation.
Sterling reserves the right to make revisions in the design of products without
notice, as specified in the Price Book.

d'étanchéité à la silicone avec couleur correspondante à 100 % sur les zones
requises lorsqu'indiqué. Ne pas utiliser de mastic d'étanchéité à base de latex ni
d'autres mastics isolants. Ne pas rajouter de mastic à la silicone à d'autres
endroits. Un type et une application non appropriée de mastic peut emprisonner
l'humidité et ceci pourrait entraîner de la moisissure ou des fuites sur la durée de
vie du produit.
NOTICE: Risque d'endommagement du produit. Ne pas installer la baignoire sur
des solives du sol exposées. L'espace du bassin ne nécessite pas de support
additionnel lorsque le plancher est nivelé et d'équerre avec les montants du cadre.
Installer la baignoire sur un plancher correctement supporté et nivelé. Il sera
nécessaire de poser des cales si le plancher n'est pas à niveau.
NOTICE: Risque d'endommagement du produit. Si la baignoire est expédiée avec
une couverture de protection, conserver celle-ci jusqu'à la construction complète pour
