MT1415 Pin Stripe Removal Tool
OPERATION
Always turn off the air supply, drain hose of air pressure and
detach tool from air supply before installing, removing or
adjusting any part or accessory on this tool, or before performing
any maintenance on this tool.
When using the pin stripe removal tool, be careful not to exert
excessive force.
The burning of the work piece or excessive speed reduction
indicated too much force being applied.
Eraser wheels can be mounted providing their speed rating
exceeds the rating of the tool. Correct eraser wheel mounting is
necessary to prevent injury.
Do not use damaged eraser wheels. Grip output shaft (or
adapter) using supplied wrench and tighten eraser wheel to
prevent spin off when the tool is turned off.
The thread size of the shaft (or adapter) must match the size of
the eraser wheel holder.
After mounting a new eraser wheel, start the tool under a bench
and run for a few seconds. If the tool starts to vibrate when first
fitting a new eraser wheel or during operation, immediately
remove from service. If tool is dropped, inspect wheel for any
damage and if so, replace the eraser wheel.
DO NOT use damaged or excessively worn eraser wheels. Using
damaged or excessively worn eraser wheels will result in (Holder/
Washer ref# 40) to make contact with work surface resulting in
damage to work or paint. ALWAYS replace excessively worn
eraser wheels with "recommended" eraser wheels.
NOTE: During operation, safety goggles should always be worn
(users & bystanders).
